Most traffic warrants can be handled without being arrested by contacting the court during
normal business hours.
Some warrant cases will REQUIRE
a bond to be posted.
Traffic Safety School is a program set up as a Driver Improvement Program; request for Traffic Safety School
must be approved by Judge D’Agrosa and completed within a certain
time period. Once this course is completed, the moving violation is
forwarded to DOR but the points associated
are not assessed.
Not everyone will be approved
for Traffic Safety School.
Entering a plea of guilty does not mean that you will be sent to jail. The majority of Ordinance
Violations are handled by either: Offender Programs, Probation, fine
& cost being assessed.
Range of punishment in this court
does include $1 - $1000 in fines and up to 90 days in St. Louis County
Jail.
Parks and Recreation
The Olivette Parks & Recreation Commission and the City of Olivette have created a dog park that is located in Irv Zeid Citizens Park (9100 Old Bonhomme). The park opened April 19th and will be available free this year to any resident who follows the posted rules, and has a current dog license. After this year, there will be a fee to help keep the space clean and enjoyable for our four legged friends. The park will be accessible from dawn to dusk 7 days a week, and will be dog owner monitored. For more information or questions, please contact the Olivette Parks & Recreation Department at (314) 991-1249 or opr@olivettemo.com.
