Can I walk the course? YES!! This is a 5K run/walk. Everyone starts at the same time (although for safety we ask walkers to start in the back of the pack). Each year many people walk with friends and family.
Can I run with my child in a stroller? Olivette Turkey Trot is a family event, so we want you to come with your children!! The only stipulation is that persons with strollers start in the rear to eliminate the risk of tripping other runners.
Can I run with my dog? Dogs are not prohibited, but we require that all dogs be on a leash and that you start in the back of the pack to reduce the risk of tripping other runners. Please use common sense – if your dog is not accustomed to being around 1000 people in a run, might be best to keep him at home.
What if I have the wrong shirt size? You can exchange t-shirts on race day, but only after the registration has closed. This ensures that everyone gets a t-shirt.
Can I register the morning of the run? Absolutely! But make sure to come early on race day to register, as we will close registration 15 minutes before the start of the race.

But remember that we will be closing Old Bonhomme Road prior to the race. If you need to register or pick up your race packet, we suggest you arrive closer to 7:00 am.
Are there attendance prizes? You betcha!! Attendance prizes will be drawn after the race, but you must be present to win.
Will there be snacks at the end of the race?
Yes! You will be able to refresh with light snacks and (if you’re over 21) delicious local craft beer donated by Urban Chestnut and Chevys Fresh Mex for margaritas and chips!
