Bill #2994 - An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 2747 of the City of Olivette, Missouri By Revising the City’s Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Budget– Second Reading

Second Reading to request to add $15,000 in appropriations to the General Fund, $150,000 in appropriations and associated $100,000 public safety transfer in the Capital Improvement Fund, and add the rank of Corporal to the Police Department.

Bill #2995 - An ordinance amending the Olivette Municipal Code by enacting a new Chapter 450 regulating marijuana facilities. Second Reading and Public Hearing.

This bill will repeal the existing Chapter 450 Medical Marijuana Facilities and replace with a new Chapter 450 Marijuana Facilities providing for the regulation of adult use recreational marijuana.

Bill #2996 - An ordinance to approve a final subdivision plat titled "Lynne-Bonhomme Subdivision". Second Reading.

This bill will approve a 2-lot subdivision of the property currently addressed as 9549 Old Bonhomme Road to be known as Lynne-Bonhomme Subdivision.

Resolution 2023-234 - A Resolution Establishing a Reserve Policy for the City of Olivette

The Council approved a formal Reserve Policy in May 2018.  The reserve policy is intended to mitigate the level of service delivery in the event of an unforeseen economic uncertainty or hardship.  It also facilitates long-term financial planning.  Experience of 5 years of the current policy is leading to the recommendation to maintain the majority of the existing policy that includes a 1 year and 5 year outlook but lower the fund balance requirement at the 5 year projection to 50% of expenditures from the current 75%.
