Be A Part Of Change

We want your feedback, satisfaction rating design with colorful emoticons (Facebook Post)

The City of Olivette is updating the 2006 Comprehensive Plan, and we need your help!

What is a Comprehensive Plan?

The Comprehensive Plan is the vision document the City uses to develop land use policies. The 2006 Plan envisioned a “dynamic sense of place,” a vision that portrays Olivette as a community with a well-defined character of its own. Driving into the city, a visitor feels a sense of arrival. The landmarks, high-point vistas, public art, gathering places, and civic activity centers make Olivette a unique and attractive destination. Olive Boulevard exhibits a mix of businesses, services, and residential options developed collaboratively to meet the specific needs of the community. Whether they are working, relaxing, recreating, or gathering for a civic function, people here can have access to most of everything they need right in their own community. Highway and regional transit connections provide convenience for residents and businesses and influence redevelopment function and scale.

Who will develop the Plan?

The City has engaged with Shockey Consulting to develop the Comprehensive Plan Update. A major focus of the update will be to engage with the community to reevaluate and develop the vision for the next 20 years.
